The exterior blue paint is approximately 80 percent intact, with areas of wear from use and light surface rust. The Luftschutz decal on the front of the helmet is approximately 80 percent intact. The interior rear rim has a decal with a designated size of 55. The full liner is present, and it bears the impressed mark of 'CFS'. The leather chin strap is present, but broken.
