Original era manufacture. Standard M5 bayonet but with a chromed finish, perhaps for a parade or color guard contingent. Maker marked on the crossguard, J&D Tool Co. Black plastic grips, M8A1 scabbard with a dark OD canvas frog. Normal age and wear.
