Imperial German Kriegsmarine Ordnance Reservist Flask

The leather covered flask bears the toned gilt brass insignia of the Navy Ordnance personnel with the Hohenzollern crown above. The flask bears the declarations of 'Parole Heimath' (usually translated as 'Homeward Bound') and 'Hoch lebe die Reserve' ('Long live the Reserve'). The flask has a winged eagle cap. The reverse side has a cut out area through which can be seen a color picture of a young Kaiser Wilhelm II in his coronation robes. The flask is suspended on a red, white and black cord. The flask measures approximately 7 1/4 inches tall. Overall very good condition.
