US WWII-Korean War Identified 82nd Airborne M1-C Paratroop Helmet & Liner

Original era manufacture. This is a wonderful old helmet, the seller stated that it was found in a Phoenix Arizona yardsale about 25 years ago. Rear seamed, non-reflective edged helmet with original sewn dark OD canvas chinstraps. Original paint finish with two 82nd Airborne insignia, one on each side. Westinghouse manufactured, Airborne pattern plastic liner with full suspension and yoke. Painted on the inside of the steel pot is the name and service number of the soldier who wore this helmet.This will allow the next owner to do some further research and discover the history of the helmet and it's wearer. Honest, unmolested example, never cleaned or improved. Normal age and wear.
