British WWII Royal Artillery Officers Service Visor Hat

Original era manufacture. Olive wool twill visor hat with a darkened bronze RA emblem at front, brown leather chinstrap secured with two brass RA buttons. Four ventilator holes in the rear body of the hat, leather sweatband with a full opaque plastic sweatshield. There is some scattered mothing to the body of the hat, very minor, with most occurring behind the chinstrap so out of sight visually. The edge of the hat body shows perspiration staining, indicating that this hat saw actual service, not sitting in a hat box somewhere. Sweatband stitching is beginning to open up a bit but certainly in no danger of falling out. Would guess the size to be about a 7, original owners initials R.D.M. stamped into the sweatband leather.
