WWII Japanese Late War Type 95 NCO Sword with Wooden Scabbard

The sword has an overall length in the scabbard of approximately 40 inches, with a blade length of approximately 26 inches. The blade shows spots and surface grime, but it is generally quite clean. The blade is unnumbered, as is the scabbard. The tsuba guard is the plain solid iron variety. The long wood grip is without chips or cracks, wrapped in the traditional manner in brown fabric. The wooden scabbard shows typical wear to the painted finish from use in the field, with surface chips scratches, and abrasions, but the scabbard is intact. Overall the sword is in very good field used condition.
