Oldham School of Nursing hospital trained nurse named badge Greater Manchester

A good original circa 1970's period 'Oldham School of Nursing chromium plated enamel award badge' bearing the Arms of Oldam with three Owls and motto 'SAPERE AUDE' (Dare to be wise); the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Regent St Birmingham' and inscribed to therecipient 'Barbara Cavanagh'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, an excellent example.Height approx 38mm.
