Named WWII Japanese Army Officer Visor Cap

The visor cap is ribbed brown wool construction with a red wool cap band. The visor surface exhibits age crazing. The cap band has five very small holes in s near line, but otherwise the cap is very clean and without damage or repairs. The leather chin strap is in place across the visor, retained by gilt officer cherry blossom buttons. The interior leather sweatband has wear, but it is complete and intact, as is the interior lining. The lining also has a cloth label bearing embroidered kanji, this being the name of the officer who owned the cap. Overall the cap is in very good condition.
