Boxed WWII Japanese 'Bullet' Food Skewers

The skewers are approximately 8-5/8 inches long, with the base, or handle, of each skewer having been fashioned from a bullet. The spike portions of the skewers show surface rust. The bullets exhibit uncleaned patina and verdigris. Both skewers are within their original box, which shows age and tears, with one end flap being missing.
