WWII Japanese Army Officer Wool Overcoat

The olive wool officer's overcoat is a very high quality example which exhibits only light use or wear. The coat has a double breasted appearance, although the three center gilt buttons on the front are not functional, with the coat having concealed plastic buttons in the placket beneath the gilt buttons. The coat has a belted back and a tailored opening on the side for the wear of a sword. Both the coat interior and sleeve show a full lining. The coat is without holes, damage or repairs and it makes an excellent appearance.
