Cased WWII Japanese Police Handcuff

The single handcuff is nickel plated, showing wear to the plated finish and areas of rust. The handcuff is marked 'Kota', with a patent number and with the handcuff bearing the image of a police sun as well as a mounted rider. The cuff is attached to a long cord with remains wrapped. The cuff is locked and without a key. the cuff is contained within its leather carrying case, which shows age and scuffs but which is intact and retains the belt loop.
