WWII Japanese Type 89 'Knee Mortar' Round

Approximately 5-1/2 inches in length, with a base diameter of approximately 1-5/8 inches. The top nose component of the round has been removed. The round bears kanji markings and, while it shows age and wear to the black paint, the round is in overall good condition.
