Named WWII Japanese Navy Officer Visor Cap

The visor cap has a dark blue wool body with black cap band.. The leather visor exhibits minor typical age crazing and edge scuffs. The front of the cap displays the bullion and metal insignia of an officer of the Imperial Japanese Navy. The interior leather sweatband is intact, as is the purple silk lining, both showing signs of wear. The interior has a tag which bears the name of the officer who owned and wore the cap. Overall the cap is in excellent condition.
