1940 Dated Japanese Army Superior Private Tunic

The wool tunic carries the collar tabs of a Superior Private of the Japanese Army. Above the right breast pocket is a red wool branch of service chevron, with a hole on one end, reflecting service in the infantry or armor branches. On the left sleeve is a red Good Conduct chevron. The tunic shows signs of actual wear and use, but it is without holes, damage, or repairs. The white cotton lining has spots from wear and use. The lining bears issue stamps which include the date of 1940. Overall excellent service used condition.
