1941 Dated Japanese Army Veterinary First Lieutenant 1st Model Tropical Tunic

Uncommon 1st Model Tropical Cotton Tunic which was produced with pleated breast pockets, eliminated on later models. Tunic was used by an officer who had an extra strip of cloth added to the interior of the collar, bayonet hanger was removed and has used a hanging rank insignia for an Army First Lieutenant, with the purple branch of service color for the Veterinary branch on the breast pocket. The interior of the tunic has issue stamps which include the date of 1941. Tunic shows signs of use and minor wear but is in overall very good condition.
