The visor surface shows age crazing and surface chips. Gold trim reflects the rank of Major. The red wool body of the cap has some surface dust, but it is without holes or damage. The interior is fully lined and embroidered with the name of the officer who owned the cap. The dress plume is present on the cap. Overall a very scarce cap that is both named and in generally very good to excellent condition.
