Japanese 1944 Dated Army Mosquito Protection Mittens

The olive green cotton mittens have covered openings to permit the soldier to use his fingers and thumbs when operating a weapon, while being protected at other times. The interiors of the mittens bear issue stamps and are dated 'Showa 19', or 1944. The mittens have a few light spots but are otherwise in excellent condition, showing only light use.
