WWII Japanese Army Pilot Pocket Watch by Seikosha

The pocket watch has a diameter of approximately 1-7/8 inches, exclusive of the stem. The face of the watch has numbers rendered in luminous paint. The watch face has impressed kanji above the number '6' which reads 'Army Aviator Watch'. The interior movement is marked by the Seikosha watch company (which would become the Seiko Company). The watch stem winds easily and the hands of the watch can be moved by the use of the stem. The watch presently runs periodically after winding, but the watch undoubtedly needs a cleaning and oiling if it were to operate continuously. The nickel case and stem show wear to the finish. Overall very good condition.
