Named Japanese Navy Commander of Shipbuilding Dress Frock Coat

The dress frock coat is constructed of high quality dark blue wool with a raw edged hem. The coat has a set of loops on the upper left breast for the wear of a medal bar. The cuffs carry the gilt braid rank insignia of a Commander, with the lowest braid stripe having purple piping. All of the gilt officer buttons are present, with some of the buttons showing verdigris. The shoulders have loops for wear of dress epauletttes. The interior of the collar bears an embroidered tailor label as well as a name label with the embroidered kanji for the name 'Nomura'. The frock coat is in exceptionally clean condition and it makes an excellent appearance.
