Cased WWII Japanese Bubble Sextant

The sextant is contained within its wooden case, which measures approximately 10-1/2 inches wide by 5-1/4 inches high by 6-1/4 inches deep. The sextant itself appears to be in excellent condition. A metal plaque on the sextant is serial numbered, and this is the same serial number that appears on a paper slip affixed to the inside of the lid and it is the same serial number that appears on the metal plaque that is fastened to the exterior of the case lid. The wooden case shows subtle cracks as well as scuffing, but the case is complete and intact.
