Boxed WWII Japanese Dark Blue Ribbon Medal of Honor

The cased medal is in near mint condition. The silver medal bears a dark blue ribbon, indicating that the medal was given to an individual who had made a donation of at least five thousand yen for the well being of the public. The bar bears the engraved award date. The reverse of the medal is blank, as this type of the medal was not engraved. The titled box shows signs of age, and the end of the lid is missing.
