A good original 1950's period 'Middlesex Hospital Nurses League silver plated award badge'; blue enamel title circlet, hospitals embossed enamel shield to centre on stippled ground within the Latin motto 'MISERIS SUCCURRERE DISCO'; the reverse impressed with the recipients name 'MARY E. BAKER 1953 - 1957'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no enamel loss.Diameter approx 29mm.
