WW2 German Wehrmacht – ORIGINAL ENGINE CYLINDER HEAD GASKET – MAYBACH HL42 NICE

You are bidding on a VERY RARE example of a WW2 German Wehrmacht Maybach HL42 Zylinderkopfdichtung (Cylinder Head Gasket); Part Number 314772-1! Though this engine was heavily used in the Sd.Kfz. 10, Sd.Kfz. 11, Sd.Kfz 250, and Sd.Kfz. 251, this EXACT set came from my Sd.Kfz. 251/9 that is currently under restoration. I believe this was also used in the HL120, which was installed on the Panzer III and Panzer IV.Made of cast rubber and steel, this is an AMAZING piece of history, and all features are SUPERB!Some scratches and marks due to the age, but VERY SOLID otherwise! No cracks, breaks, or missing material…and it still remains flexible and solid! Removed from a FUNCTIONAL Maybach HL42 engine, it still retains all the original patina and oil stains! Should clean up nicely. Though it came from a functional engine (I swapped this out during overhaul), I cannot or imply any warranty or guarantee of functionality. Sold as a collectibles only. I have shown the EXACT engine this originated from in the last images. An EXCELLENT addition to any collection or display!
