Japanese WWI Era Army Officers Visor Hat,

Original era manufacture. A low crown, mustard wool bodied hat, with red wool piping and band. Patent leather visor and adjustable chinstrap, single gilded brass star at front. Dark purple silk lining with an oilcloth sweatband decorated with a thin white silk ribbon. There is some minor scattered mothing to be seen, really nothing to speak of, and overall there is light general wear and use. These early pattern hats are much shorter in height  than the later WWII models.
