WW1 Memorial PlaqueTo- WILLIAM.PAULIN.43336.Cpl.William.Paulin was both born & enlisted in Kelso, Roxburgshire. He sadly died of wounds in France & Flanders 12-11-1918 just one day after the armistice was signed. He was serving with the 7th battalion of the Royal Scots at the time of his death & is buried in Valenciennes (St Roch) communal cemetery & is recorded by the CWGC as the late son of Mr & Mrs John Paulin of Bowmont house, Kelso Roxburghshire.EF With a couple of tiny green verdigris spots & complete with details from both SDGW & the CWGC
