British (Airborne) Glider Axe. Used as an escape axe for Glider crew to exit the glider. This particular example was recovered from the Wolfheze area and kept in a private collection until now. In clear used condition but still with a clear visible Broad Arrow on the blade. A nice combat used British (Airborne) Glider Axe with a great patina.
