Matching pair MG34 u. MG42 lafette carrying straps marked WaA 640

Matching pair MG34 u. MG42 lafette carrying straps marked WaA 640. Textbook pair in unissued condition. These straps probably survived together with the barrel carriers for the Norwegian army postwar. The straps are typical early to mid war examples with black painted buckles and hooks. The leather is stiff but plyable. The rough side has some storage grease residue but the pair is fairly clean. This is a exciting and very hard to find pair, which if I didn't already have a set of, would never sell – you will not – find a pair in better condition!
