Full profileLuftwaffe M35 double decal helmet with first pattern eagle, interesting example in that the helmet was originally produced in the apple green color but was then produced with Luftwaffe colors and decals, at some point the helmet was stacked and in areas where the smooth blue grey colored paint has chipped the original finish may be seen, the blue grey layer is nice and 90% or better remains, there are scattered chips and scraps but no large areas of missing paint, the eagle decal has a small chip to the wing and another to the lower chest, the national colors decal has vertical and horizontal scratches, the inner dome stamp is dated 1939 and there is another rectangular shaped unit stamp, Et60 shell, lot number 4188, the reinforced aluminum liner bands are also dated 1939, the supple leather liner is stamped size 53, the liner string and the longer section of the chinstrap are absent, extra clean, USD $4200
