Description
Hotzi Notzi Pin Cushion in Case-This is a painted figure of Adolf Hitler bending over with a brown fabric pincushion as his bottom. These Anti Axis pin cushions were sold in 1941 to support war efforts. This is cool since it still includes the original tag titled 'Hotzi Notzi'. It also reads, 'It is good luck to find a pin/Here's an 'Axis' to stick it in.' This originally included two pins that had small paper American flags at the ends, these are lost to time. But, we have included a pin so that you can 'Stick Hitler in the Axis'.This novelty originally sold for .69 cents, and shows Hitler bending over as if he were to get it in the rear. He is wearing a brown uniform, with two orange armbands. There is some damage to the back of his neck, and a spot missing on his nose, but more importantly his moustache is intact. He sits on an orange base. It appears to have a maker's mark on the back of this base and the date 1941. He comes with a blue leatherette case, that appears to be a modern addition to keep Hitler safely stored. This box is in very good condition. We rarely see them with the original tag, so this is a special find.
