WWI Prussian Artillery EM/NCO Kugelhelm Helmet

The leather helmet shows typical age crazing, primarily to the front and rear visors. The helmet body is generally quite clean. The fittings, to include the front visor; the front Prussian eagle wappen plate; the ball top and base; the rear spine; and the chin strap posts all are bright and clean. The ball top exhibits several small indentations. The leather chin strap is a replacement. The national colors cockade is present on the right side of the helmet, while the left side carries an officer pattern Prussian colors cockade. The interior of the helmet retains the full liner, showing light wear and lacking the drawstring. The helmet interior has a size mark of '54' as well as a manufacturer's name stamp. The front interior of the helmet has two holes for the mounting of the wappen plate. Overall the helmet is in fine condition and it makes a very good appearance.
