Description
A very nice untouched M1 helmet in good, minimal worn, condition. The shell is complete with its chin strap and has a heat number 0238A stamped in the interior (hard to read). The curved brim and oval seams are typical for the manufacturer of McCord. The helmet shows minimal wear. Liner is in similar condition and is maker marked by with the firm logo of CAPAC, early war construction.. The leather sweatband and chin strap present. Original camouflage net attached, maker marked by Dennison dated 1944. Nice early- to mid war produced American helmet in excellent condition!
