Description
Very solid light worn M35 Luftwaffe steel helmet in good condition. Helmet started as a double decal example, in classic glossy blue pre-war exterior paint. Per 1940 regulations the tri-color shield had to be removed. The Luftwaffe eagle decal, still sits firmly in place and shows great and sharp details. Complete with original installed liner. Reinforced aluminum liner band is dated 1939, just like the dome stamp in the middle of the shell. The leather itself remains supple and strong. Genuine draw string and late-war chin strap is present. Split pins remain straight and untouched. Shell markings Q66 – 4274. A beautiful Luftwaffe helmet!
