This is a nice example of a Wehrmacht (Heer) M44 Type Breast Eagle (Hoheitsabzeichen).This is the final pattern machine woven breast eagle and was utilized on a variety of combat clothing including the M44 field blouse and assault gun wrap-around tunics. The eagle is executed in the neat so-called BeVo weave style in grey thread on a field-grey linnen background.
