British Edwardian Era, Other Ranks Home Service Helmet, Royal Berkshire Rgt. 1903

Original period manufacture. A cork bodied, blue cloth helmet which appears complete. No damage to the body, minor wear and checking to the black leather bound edging. The helmet plate bears a Queen's crown, and from the looks of the interior, other helmet plates have been installed in the past. Inkstamped WD Broad Arrow proof in the lining along with a date of 1903, in addition to several sets of control numbers, some inked over during reissue. The sweatband is intact but shows wear and is a bit floppy. Nice helmet overall.
