German WWII S84/98 Bayonet, Matching, Durkopp 38

Original period manufacture.Very clean prewar bayonet by DURKOPP, dated 38, matching numbers blade to scabbard, 1278f. Satin blue finish to the blade, minor surface wear, very clean. Mix of steel patina and blue to the guard and pommel, dark plum bakelite grips. Blue and steel patina finish to the scabbard body, with evidence of old, cleaned corrosion pitting, very light surface denting. Frog stud moves a bit.
