This is a real pleasure to offer this on our site, being an original signature letter from the former commander of the American Expeditionary Force in WWI, General John 'Black Jack' Pershing, to the then superintendent of West Point, General Maxwell D.Taylor, late commander of the 101st Airborne Division and D-Day Veteran. Typed letter on General Pershing's personal stationary, dated 17 September 1945, thanking General Taylor for his personal birthday greetings from the United States Military Academy. Letter measures 7.25 x 9.25 inches.
