German Cold War Era M56 NVA Steel Helmet, Complete, Size 2

Original period manufacture. Prototypes of this pattern helmet existed during WWII but were never adopted by the Wehrmacht. They were however, later used by the East German Army after 1957. Clean unissued helmet, liner is sound with a complete chinstrap. Size marked 2, over 89 year of manufacuture. Pretty much storage and handling age only.
