German WWII Canteen

German WWII Canteen-This is a very good, matched set. The aluminum flask of this canteen is marked at the throat with C&CW 42. The black painted aluminum cup is also marked C&CW 36. The black paint on the cup is mostly intact. The brown felt cover on this canteen is in very good condition, it shows slight discoloration spots but has very little mothing and wear. The snap covers show a bit of rust. This canteen has brown canvas straps with brown leather reinforcements. The buckles have some rusting so please see photos. The snap clip retains approx. 85% of its original green paint. This canteen is in very good condition overall.
