1 October 1938 Medal (Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1 Oktober 1938). Medal for the German occupation of the Czech Republic. This medal was awarded to all German soldiers who participated in the occupation of Czechoslovakia, which began on 1 October 1938. This medal was instituted on 18 October 1938 and followed the same design as the earlier '13 März' medal (for the annexation of Austria). The medal is complete with its original ribbon. A beautiful example in very good condition!
