German Horse Gas Mask Carrying Bag

German Model 1941 Horse Gas Mask Carrying Bag (Pferdegasmaske 41 Tasche). Throughout world war 2, horse drawn transport remained an important part of the German military supply organization. The protective chemical warfare equipment for horses consists of a specially designed gasmask, a body covering, goggles and leggings/gaiters. The bag is constructed of green coloured canvas material and brown leather straps. The white label is maker marked 'bwz' indicating production by the company 'Auer-Gesellschaft AG' - Werk Oranienburg, the label is WaA marked as well. The bag is showing normal traces of storage and age. Nice original late war carrying bag in very good condition!
