US Indian Wars/Spanish American War Era Canteen

Original era manufacture. M1878 tan canvas covered circular canteen with a stenciled US on its cover. Original cork stopper without chain in the spout with two triangular suspension loops on the sides.There is some light staining to the cover and a shallow dent or two towards the bottom of the canteen. The US stencil isclear,sound canteen.
