Waffen-SS Cupal Visor Cap Skull 'RZM 254/42'

This is a nice original Waffen-SS Visor Cap Skull (Totenkopf). The SS visor cap skull was first introduced for wear on 6 October 1934 and replaced the earlier 'Danziger' style skulls. The skull is made of cupal. Unfortunately both prongs are broken. The skull is nicely 'RZM 254/42' marked on the back, indicating production by the company of 'Deschler & Sohn' in München in 1942. This is a harder to find variant. The skull is in heavily worn condition showing a fantastic patina and worn look. Stunning and rare original skull!
