Civil Defence Corps Scotland home front volunteer pin badge 1949 to 1953

A scarce original circa 1949 to 1953 post war period 'Civil Defence Corps gilt and enamel pin badge, King George VI Crowned circlet 'Civil Defence Corps' on blue enamel ground, enclosing the forward facing lion central device. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings normally associated with a womens issue, no damage to the enamel.Height approx 27mm.
