Here on offer is a fine example mint I*XL GEORGE WOSTENHOLM lambsfoot knife with jigged bone grip scales.The Lambsfoot shaped stainless steel blade is in perfect condition and you can still see the original cross-graining.On one side of the ricasso it is stamped with the maker's details:I*XL GEORGEWOSTENHOLMSHEFFIELDENGLANDThe knife has two slices of natural jigged bone that have been shaped to form a smooth and tight fit to the brass liners and they are held in place by three brass pins.It has a nickel silver bolster at the cutting end.The knife opens and closes perfectly, having a strong spring action.The blade measures 2.75' (7cm) long and has a 2.3' (6cm) cutting edge.
