WW2 German Wehrmacht Ersatzteilkasten – GUNNER SPARE PARTS TIN – 1945 – RARE

You are bidding on a VERY NICE used example of WW2 German Wehrmacht MG42 Gunners Spare Parts Tin. These small tins contained extractors, springs, ejectors and firing pins.This small spare-parts tin (Ersatzteilkasten) was issued to accompany MG crews for battlefield repairs and maintenance. It was usually stored inside the pouch or tool box.Made of steel, this is in EXCELLENT condition for its age. Some slight marks and wear, but nothing that detracts. Still retains 95% original Dunkelgrau paint! It is stamped, 'HW' and '45' on the front, and comes with all the spare parts shown. This is the ONLY one I have seen that is dated 1945, as most of these are dated 43 or 44.A VERY RARE item for any collection or display!
