Argentine Engineer Carbine Bayonet, German Mfg

Original era manufacture. German manufactured brass handled bayonet  by what I believe to be Kirschbaum. Modified from it's 1879 Rolling Block rifle configuration around 1891 to fit the newly adopted Engineer's Carbine. Polished steel blade measuring 9.75 inches in length, hooked guard with an interesting halfmoon style muzzle ring. Steel guard showing a considerable amount of denting on both sides. Incorrect pattern brown leather scabbard.
