Third Reich TENO Hewer Frog and Knot

Excellent example of the leather suspension device for the TENO Hewer. These weapons were prevented from moving in the hanger by means of an overly delicate grip strap and 'bobbin' which is rarely found intact due to the weight of this heavy piece ripping through the locating hole in the strap. This example however is complete and in superb condition overall. The metal snap clip has the ' Assmann' makers mark of a stylised 'A' to the reverse. Wrapped about the waist of the hanger is a portepee identified as 'Technical Service NCO'A difficult to find combination in this condition, and a perfect partner for our Hewer listed earlier.Please call to discuss options.
