WW1 Death Plaque and Pair. 2nd Battalion, Royal Scots, Arras.

Sold
£160.00

Description

Plaque and pair relates to J.Burnett, service number 27787 who was killed on the 9th of April, 1917 , on the first day of the battle of Arras. He is buried at the Beaurains road cemetery. As for condition i would rate as very good with plenty of patina, death plaque appears to have been mounted at some point as the top and bottom have the remains of fixing pins in the edge. This and another broken group listed, item number..62880, recently came out of a local Cardiff house clearance.
