Sparkasse Marburg Sewing Needle? Container

German small metal container with advertising for the bank of Marburg on it. I am thinking this is for sewing needles but it seems a bit short for that, so maybe it was for something else, snuff maybe. I am really not entirely sure. The style of this is more WWI era. In decent condition.
