Description

A pair of British military binoculars with 1917 in their 1917 dated leather case.These binoculars are French made in Paris & marked with the War Department broad arrow being made under contract by the French for the British Army to meet demand. In very good condition they have the Paris maker company name of 'L.Petit' embossed on the eyepieces with broad arrows & 'MkV WIDE' to ocuars. There is some light spotting to lenses but no cracks or damage. Leather case is marked 'H*' with the maker name 'C&R BRINSLEY' & date '1917'. Leather is as good as the day it was first issued.
